Sleep like a yogi

Yoga Nidra, also known as ’the sleep of the yogi’, is a form of guided meditation. Lying down comfortably, you are guided into a deep state of relaxation between waking and sleeping through visualisation and body scans. This restorative practice calms the nervous system, improves sleep and supports emotional and physical healing by accessing deeper levels of consciousness. It is often said that one hour of Nidra equals four hours of sleep. And while there is no scientific research to support this yet, the deeply healing effects of this practice are widely recognised and experienced.
