In this 3-day training you will refine your knowledge and develop advanced skills to guide students through Yoga Nidra—a profound practice that embodies the art of deep relaxation while awakening inner awareness.
What is Yoga Nidra?
Yoga Nidra, often translated as yogic sleep, is a state of consciousness between wakefulness and dreaming—sleep with a trace of awareness. During the practice, awareness gently travels through different layers of the mind, allowing the practitioner to move from the surface of consciousness toward deeper and more subtle states of being.
The Elements, the Senses & the Layers of Consciousness
This training explores the relationship between the layers of consciousness, the five senses, and the five elements: earth, water, fire, air and space.
As awareness moves through the layers of the mind, we begin to recognise how the elements express themselves through the senses—smell, taste, sight, touch and hearing—and how they shape our inner and outer experience.
You will learn how to integrate the qualities of the elements into a structured Yoga Nidra script, guiding awareness gradually from the conscious mind to the subconscious and into deeper layers of perception where subtle insight can arise.
The five elements are dynamic expressions of consciousness, matter and energy. They exist both in the outer world and within our own being. Every perception arises through their interplay. By understanding their qualities and observing their influence within us, we cultivate greater balance in body and mind.
This 30-Hour Training Offers
• Insight into the qualities of the five elements and how they influence behaviour and inner development
• A deeper understanding of how to create and structure a Yoga Nidra script
• Exploration of the relationship between the elements, the senses and the layers of the mind
• A stronger foundation in yogic philosophy
• Recordings of the Yoga Nidra sessions guided during the training, allowing you to revisit the practices afterwards
What You Will Experience During the 3 Days
The training combines study, direct experience and reflection. During the three days you will explore:
• Guided Yoga Nidra practices
• The structure and sequencing of Yoga Nidra scripts
• The relationship between sleep, dreams and states of awareness
• The connection between the elements, the senses and the mind
• Space for reflection, discussion and integration
Daily Theme Overview
Each day focuses on specific elements and their expression within Yoga Nidra.
Day 1 — Earth & Water
Exploring grounding, stability and emotional flow. These elements support deep relaxation and the foundation for moving inward.
Day 2 — Fire & Air
Exploring transformation, perception and subtle movement of awareness. Practices invite clarity, vitality and inner lightness.
Day 3 — Space (Ether)
Exploring openness and stillness. Space represents the subtle field in which awareness expands and deeper insight can arise.

Certification
Participants who complete the training will receive a 30-hour Yoga Nidra Training certificate, recognising their study of the philosophy and practical application of Yoga Nidra.
