3-day Restorative training with Inge
Restorative training
with Inge Peters
In this 3 days advanced training we will explore the art of conscious deep rest through the practice of Restorative Yoga.
What?
To deeply rest, relax and recharge is essential to generate good health, a vital immune system and mental/ emotional stability. Restorative Yoga is a beautiful soft practice in which we use props to support the body so the whole system is able to rest, relax, restore and recharge. This practice has a profound positive impact on the Autonomic Nervous System and will benefit those who are experiencing fatigue or recover from illness, stress, anxiety, emotional issues. It’s beneficial for anyone who wants more balance and better health.
How?
In Restorative Yoga we take support with the use of many props, so you can stay for a longer time. The poses are accessible to all, because the props will support each body in the perfect way.
Why?
Deep rest and relaxation stimulate the Parasympathetic Nervous System, Ventral Vagues Nerve that supports safety and allows the body to restore, recharge and rejuvenates. Most of the time the Sympathetic Nervous System is active and even over-stimulated which can cause fatigue, overwhelm & stress and an instability in the mind-body-heart relationship. Our system gets depleted in time when we don’t deeply rest. With Restorative Yoga we do exactly that. We consciously rest in a non-doing state, where we can feel and listen to our (subtle) body and re-connect. Through ‘active’ rest we tune into the inborn healing capacity of the body and return to natural balance.
What?
You will learn about the physiology of rest and relaxation and the Autonomic Nervous System. You will learn how to practice and share Restorative Yoga and integrate the knowledge from experience.
