Ayurvedic Wellness Day Beauty & Skincare with Jolijn
AYURVEDIC WELLNESS DAY BEAUTY & SKINCARE
Ayurveda is the oldest natural holistic health science alive. Ayurveda means ‘knowledge of life’ with its origins around 5000 years ago from India. It is based on the idea that disease derives from an imbalance or stress in a person’s consciousness. Whether that be emotionally, physically or mentally.
So the focus of Ayurveda is how to bring body, mind and spirit in balance. It involves your whole lifestyle, like: what and how you eat, how you take care of yourself and the way you behave and think.
Ayurveda is profound like an ocean, however we like to call it ‘common sense science’ as its approach to wellness is simple and intuitive.
What is this workshop about
Ayurveda believes that true beauty is composed of three vital elements: a well-nourished body, a balanced mind, and a peaceful spirit. In other words, outer beauty is a reflection of one's inner health and wellbeing.
Ayurveda brings us back to nature and shows us that we don’t need many different products to have glowy bright skin.
During this workshop we will dive into the beauty and knowledge of Ayurveda and learn how to use natural oils, herbs, marma points etcetera to glow more from the inside out.
- You will find out what your skin type is and how you can create your own skincare routine based on your dosha.
- You will learn a short marma facial routine to apply on yourself or on a partner.
- You will make your own moisturizer for your own skincare routine to take back home.
