When I found yoga in Seattle as a means of getting stronger after an injury, I immediately fell in love with the dancy feel of vinyasa. It made me feel my body, listen to myself and I changed things. I soon followed my first 200hrs in NYC with YogaWorks, moved back to Amsterdam and started teaching in 2012. I love anatomy, TCM and one of my teachers Maty Ezraty taught me the importance of seeing what is going on with an individual and how their body can do a posture. Not the other way around. Our bodies are such fantastic vessels that tell us so much. Yoga gives you the time and space to listen to it. I take from every teacher and world wisdom religions what that has taught me, what resonates and love to share that with you. I am currently very much in love with a slower pace of practice, hence I focus on yin, gentle vinyasa, backpath, yin yang and of course my specialty face yoga.
