The 4 Elements in Shamanism 

Workshop 

The four elements; Earth, Water, Air & Fire. They are important in Shamanism, and other nature religions, as they are part of who we are. We are not only connected to the elements, we are the elements. They move us, transform us, guide us. We come from Mother Nature, and the Earth is her womb. Our human body contains over 65% of Water. Our first and last breath is air and we can’t live without breathing. And Fire within us gives us the power to keep us going, burns our food to transform it in energy.

If any of these elements is weaker within you, it has a strong effect on your wellbeing. That is why it is important to keep our elements in balance and know which of the four is out of balance. Shamanism is all about harmony. How to keep the harmony and how to bring it back. When there is no harmony, illness can be created.

How?

In this workshops you will learn to connect with the Earth, Water, Air & Fire, and understand the power of the elements. We will merge with every element to personally experience what the four elements represents for you. By experiencing the power of the elements we can see what we are missing in our life. To merge with the element we will go on a Shamanic Journey in the Middle World, guided by the shamanic drum. Shamanism, and so this workshop, helps you to experience a deeper connection with your Self, others and Mother Nature.

-What is shamanic journeying and how does it work;
-What the elements represent for you and how to use them in your life;
-A small workbook for during the workshop and after;
-Tea and snacks during the workshop.

About Ella
Ella started to walk the path of Shamanism back in 2019, when she started with Shamanic Astrology where she is still a student. This was the beginning, her interest in Shamanism was born. In 2021 she found the right place and teacher to go deeper and to become a Shamanic Practioner with Ron Townsend at Definest in Almere. As he is trained by Sandra Ingerman herself, who is a great inspiration to Ella. Last April Ella completed her training with Ron, and became a certified Shamanic Practitioner.

Since the start of the training she tries to implement Shamanism in her work (ceremonies, circles and 1-on-1 sessions) daily life and with that her fascination for nature and her religion started to grow. Living with the natural cycles of Land & Sky, honoring the elements and in contact with Spirits is now part of who she is.

Note: Prior experience or knowledge of Shamanism is not required. All levels of participants are warmly welcomed.
