Back to Radiant Health
Are you suffering from low back pain? Do you find it difficult to find a comfortable posture? This yoga workshop will teach you the optimal alignment for your spine, pelvis and sacrum and how to access the muscles that support the internal structure of your body through easy and effective exercises and yoga poses.
Modern life creates postural and movement habits that don’t always benefit our bodies, Sitting for hours on end doesn’t help good posture but even a more active lifestyle including sports and yoga, may have a negative effect on your body. These habits and movement patterns will often result in back pain. The good news is, that with awareness and little adjustments in our posture you can make a big difference in how you feel and improve the heath of your spine.
In this all level workshop discover what is the most optimal alignment for the lower body and how to achieve this, both on your mat and off. You will see your body differently as you unveil your postural habits and tendencies that create misalignment and instantly feel the difference. In these 3 hrs we will cover alignment of the feet, legs, hips and low back. You will learn about the major muscles and bones and their proper position with specific and easy-to-follow excercises and explanation.
This workshop is open to all levels and people with injuries are welcome too (if you have very specific concerns, please let me know ahead of time by email). No yoga experience is necessary. This workshop is also very useful for yoga teachers wanting to learn about alignment in yoga.
