Pilates are a number of exercises developed by Joseph Pilates that are aimed at strengthening, stretching and balancing the entire body. The exercises usually take place on the mat. Pilates works from the body center (in Pilates terminology this is your 'powerhouse'), which is supported by a correct breathing pattern. The exercises are focused on your lower back, abdomen, pelvis and gluteal muscles, making your powerhouse stronger. This class is not suitable for pregnant women. Pilates gives numerous health benefits of psychological activity.
In this class along with Chris’ background as a personal trainer yoga teacher and mobility coach, he combines his unique way of movements where you are working on flexibility, muscular endurance, control, balance and joint movement to create a stronger, healthier and more fluid body. It’s a full body work out and it helps to prevent injury’s.
